Lawn Fawn ~ Thanks a Bushel

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday! I have a card to share! I finally pulled out a stamp set from my massive Lawn Fawn collection and made a card! There's something about Autumn that makes me want to color apples, baskets, pumpkins and leaves. I chose to use the basket of apples from the Thanks a Bushel stamp set.

I stamped the image onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock and colored it with Caran D'Ache Luminance colored pencils. These pencils blend like a dream! They are so smooth and so easy to work with. Then, I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I mounted the basket onto a piece of Into the Woods patterned paper, also from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the basket of apples and it's embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder from Stampin'Up onto Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink. I die cut the strip of red card stock with a Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners die and adhered that to my card panel.

This was a fun image to color. I kept things simple. No embellishments. That's it from me!

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Blessings~

This is a terrific card, Barb! I think the coloring on the apple basket is fantastic and the use of the woodgrain paper really helps to make it pop. Also, using the kraft and red looks wonderful. So happy to see your creation! Happy fall, my sweet friend! Hugs!
